Medical products have a label, an EU declaration of conformity and, depending on the risk class, a CE certificate and a user manual (IFU). These contain important information that is essential for safe care and efficient logistics. Examples include storage instructions and sterilisation information. On this page, we provide examples of how this information is translated in GDSN, so that you can more easily enter the information in GS1 Data Source. The codes refer to the field numbers in GS1 Data Source and the BMS_ID is the reference of the attribute in the GDSN standard.
