An old heirloom pepper variety from Spain. A vigorous plant with very nice red pointed peppers.

It is very similar to Red Horn with its fruits. Red Horn has a slightly more exotic appearance, as the pointed peppers are a bit more indented. But the main difference is that Red Horn is thin-skinned and Dulce de Espana is thick-skinned and therefore a lot juicier.

The flavour of Dulce de Espana is deliciously sweet when properly ripened. The pointed fruits turn from green to red. The peppers are about 20cm long and 8cm wide and can weigh 450 grams.
