You may activate your account by using the MijnGS1-button and selecting ‘Activate your account’ on the log-in page.
Next, you are requested to enter your e-mail address, after which your account will be activated. You will subsequently receive an e-mail with a request to generate a password which you use to log on.
It is not possible to edit the e-mail address in your account data as logging on to ‘MijnGS1’ is based on this e-mail address.
If you would like to use a different e-mail address for logging on, the best choice is to generate a new contact with this new e-mail address and the role of ‘Administrator’.
A number of roles are defined in the MijnGS1-environment:
You have access to everything, you may add contacts and allocate roles.
You may perform the turnover verification and (in the near future) order products and services and pay invoices online. You may also edit company data.
You may use the basic MijnGS1 functions, such as managing product codes (for smaller barcode package clients), consulting purchased products and services and downloading of all codes your company has access to.
Data quality administrator:
You may use the Data Quality 2.0 programme (only applicable to GS1 Data Source clients in food, health and beauty), you may add contacts and allocate the data quality role.
